The Fauna Robotics Sprout is a 107 cm, 22.7 kg developer-ready humanoid platform designed explicitly for safe interaction in shared human environments. Built in the United States by New York-based Fauna Robotics, Sprout features 29 degrees of freedom, compliant torque control, soft exterior paneling, and a character-driven facial design with motorized eyebrows and LED displays. Powered by an onboard NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin (64GB) compute module and a 3.5-hour swappable battery stack, the platform delivers out-of-the-box motion policies for locomotion and social behaviors while providing open, modular APIs for AI researchers and commercial developers in retail, entertainment, and education.
