Quick Look Card

Spun out of KAIST by the winning team of the DARPA Robotics Challenge and majority-backed by Samsung Electronics, Rainbow Robotics introduced RB-Y1 as South Korea’s premier bimanual mobile manipulator. Built using the company’s proven industrial cobot harmonic-drive actuators, RB-Y1 pairs twin 7-DoF arms with an active 6-DoF torso capable of lifting or lowering its working height by over 20 inches. Rolling on an omnidirectional wheeled base and driven by an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin compute stack, the platform bridges the gap between factory cobots and mobile AI humanoids, delivering stable, all-day manipulation for research labs and industrial manufacturing lines.
