Figure 03 marks a pivotal shift in the robotics industry, transitioning from the factory floor directly into the domestic environment. Announced in late 2025 and scaling through 2026, the Figure 03 is the first humanoid explicitly engineered for “Home-First” operation. While its predecessor, Figure 02, focused on industrial pilots with partners like BMW, the 03 model introduces a softer, more approachable design—complete with washable textile “skin” and multi-density foam to ensure safe interaction with human family members and furniture. Powered by the Helix™ Vision-Language-Action (VLA) AI, it is designed to learn household chores such as laundry, dishloading, and tidying simply by observing human behavior.
